How is it going?
May 29, 2008
There is a time for reading and there is a time for acting. How many of you have a website? How many have chosen a Clickbank item and started promoting it?
The hardest part for a new internet marketer is to find out how to start. You will read alot of reports and instructional ebooks. Some of the information you may understand and some you won’t. But there comes a time for you to put into practice what you have studied.
Let me be the one to tell you that you will most likely fail your first time out. No one will read your blog. No one will visit your website. You won’t make any affiliate sales.
All I can say is “Good for you!”
It’s funny I know, but to think you will be wildly successful out of the gate is even funnier. You need to try things and fail a bit till you see what works. I must have had five or six websites before I had one that was successful. Successful meaning I had some visitors and some income. If you experience success faster then good for you, if success comes to you slower then there is one bit of advice I can pass on, do something different.
If what you are doing does not show signs of succeeding within a reasonable amount of time, do something different. What is reasonable? That is a tougher question. Most blogs take several months before they get any loyal readers. An article writing campaign may take as log depending on your topics.
The other bit of advice is keep at it. Many people quit way too soon. So your blog has been online a month and the only visitor you see is yourself? Well, have you advertised your site? Are you a member of any blogging groups? What have you done to attract visitors? The most attractive store in the world gets no business in the middle of the Sahara. Let people know you exist.
To further help you out in this matter, I will be giving away a free ebook to get you started with some easy ways to market your site and the only cost will be your time.
