Focus on Your Goal

April 2, 2008

The mistake many first time marketers make is they lose focus.  They try too many marketing methods and don’t stick to any one for near long enough.  They will assume the entire system is a crock and throw in the towel.  In some cases beginners will buy books and reports promising riches but because they can’t focus on their goal they get frustrated at their lack of progress and quit.

There are many publishers feeding on people trying to get rich quick, promising riches within 30 days or less.  While it is true that some people do succeed, many won’t.

So how do you reverse this trend?  There is plenty of money to be made on the internet.  More than enough to go around, you just want to get your part.

A good method is to do the same things that the successful people are doing.  Sounds simple enough.  But you have to realize that the people making money are working.  They spend time everyday improving page rank for their websites, learning new marketing methods and writing articles for blogs and newsletters.

This can be done part time, while you continue working your day job.  But it should be done every day.  If every day you did something to reach your goal, you will eventually get there.

How big a step do you want to make each day?  How far away is your long term goal?  6 months?  A year?  No matter what your goals you have to take steps every day to get there.  Set realistic expectations and work towards them.

It’s time for you to choose.  Do you really want to make money online?  Do you really want to build a residual income that will allow you to retire early?

You get to decide your future.  Choose wisely.
