Don’t Be Fooled
May 22, 2008
It frustrates me when I see people get fooled by get-rich-quick scheme websites on the Internet. And believe me, there are tons of them out there, waiting to snatch some victims.
What about you? Are you one of the victims? Have you spent your hard earned money only to find the product was not worth having?
Allow me to share with you some important truths that are essential to your internet success (and possibly to your mental well-being!).
Don’t go chasing every internet marketing rabbit trail.
The internet is literally so big, and there are so many marketers trying to make a quick buck from YOU, that you could spend ALL day, every day just chasing illusions of internet riches. If you only chase after those hyped up illusions every day, then you will NEVER find what you’re looking for.
There does come a point where you have to take a small leap of faith and “try” something. In other words, you will have to do some work. That’s right, work. In order for you to earn money, some effort must be made on your part. Some value must be provided. People will trade their money for the value that you offer. And they will. People are eagerly searching the internet for value, whether it be a life changing ebook or report, or just a way to increase their enjoyment. If you are providing something on value, people will gladly give you their money.
So how do you go about providing value?
The best advice I can give you is to study and learn all you can. Find someone who has done what you want to do and join them. I’m not talking about someone who “says” they know some secret method. I’m talking about someone who IS making money.
Avoid all the get rich quick schemes like the plague. Take the long road to riches and I assure you, you will be better off and happier.
Please, don’t waste your time on programs that don’t work for you. There are so many opportunities out there that there’s no need for you to waste your time on the ones that aren’t working.

I couldn’t agree more. I’m so tired of seeing ads, getting emails, etc. about the next “secret” on how to make a fortune online. It’s just the same stuff repackaged and sent out again. Maybe some people are lucky enough to make money with little effort, but for most people it requires dedication and commitment. The important thing is to be good to your customers and give them things of value. Business on the Internet is no different than brick-n-mortar business.
